Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon
The TBKT offers youth athletes, experienced and first-timers alike, the unique opportunity to swim, bike and run in and around Busch Gardens’® premier water park, Adventure Island.
Boys and girls ages 6-14 are eligible to participate. Participants will be separated into three-waves for the race. The three waves will be categorized by age range so that participants are still competing alongside others in their age group. All registrants receive a complimentary ‘Stay and Play’ ticket to Adventure Island®, valid on race day only. All participants also receive a race-day ‘Swag Bag’, including an official Under Armour race shirt, a finisher’s medal upon completion of the race, and additional items.
A portion of registration fees is donated to the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA).

Online Registration for the 2026 Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon will open on January 14th and will close at 11:59 PM on Friday, May 8. You may register online or at packet pick-up on May 8th. Historically, race registration has sold out, so please register in advance.

'Stay & Play' tickets are valid on Saturday, May 9th (race day ONLY)

All registered participants will receive a complimentary “Stay & Play” ticket to Adventure Island. Please do not add a 'Stay & Play' ticket for registered race participants.

Up to six (6) additional 'Stay & Play' tickets to Adventure Island can be purchased during online registration for a discounted rate of $42.00.

A 'Stay and Play' ticket is NOT needed to watch the race before the park opens, however parents who plan to visit Adventure Island after the race MUST buy additional "Stay & Play" tickets (valid only on race day).

Parents and participants will collect their 'Stay & Play' ticket(s) at packet pick-up.
