12th Annual Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon

2026 TBKT Recap

The 2026 edition of the Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon marked another incredible milestone for the event, bringing together hundreds of young athletes and families for an unforgettable morning at Adventure Island. With a record-breaking 440 registered participants and 395 finishers, this year’s event officially set new all-time highs for both registrations and race completions in event history.

Athletes from across the Tampa Bay community showcased determination, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm as they swam, biked, and ran their way through the course in one of the region’s premier youth sporting events. From first-time participants to returning competitors, the energy and excitement throughout the day highlighted the continued growth and impact of the Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon.

The Tampa Bay Sports Commission and Event Development Institute would like to thank all athletes, parents, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and supporters who helped make the 2026 event such a tremendous success. Special thanks also goes to our partners at FARA and TampaWell for helping create an inclusive and memorable experience for every participant.
